So for the last See No Evil of the year they have lined up Merlin Crossingham from Aardman Animations who has worked on many Wallace and Gromit movies as creative director, Morph and many other claymation commercials. Here’s some festive Aaardman Creature Comforts for you to get you in the zone…
In an amazing double bill they will also have Parallel Teeth AKA animator Robert Wallace. He’s a director, animator and graphic artist, originally from the isolated woodlands of New Zealand but now based in London….
As usual it’s FREE and there are great prizes to win courtesy of Stash Magazine. They also have 2 copies of the amazing Rubber Hose After Effects script to give away courtesy of Battle Axe.

Yes its time for more summer frolics and inner city fun – the See No Evil summer special is coming to town – and this month they are featuring the quirkily-creative Moth Collective. Its not often you get to watch socially conscious animation that has such a beautiful look and feel – the visuals are really engaging and you never feel like you are being patronised… I thought the white on black section at the start of the HIAS film was a very powerful way of dealing with a very tricky subject. See No Evil’s April edition sees a couple of cracking animators with very different styles each giving a talk. First up Red Knuckles (Mario Ucci and Rick Thiele) who animated this wickedly good short film called Dark Noir – co-created by Rafael Grampá, Absolut and Facebook fans worldwide. Intriguingly, during a live interactive three-week period, on Facebook/Absolut, Grampá encouraged consumers to take part and influence the action and storyline as he wrote it. To help him transform his 2D characters and script into 3D, Grampá teamed up with Red Knuckles animation studio. This collaboration premiered at MADE in Berlin.
